Contact Penny Alexander 01327 310945 Newnham Past & Present This will be part of our Jubilee Gardens Festival on 3rd June and I would very much like all residents to see if they have any photos or films of family or events in Newnham village that they would be prepared to have in the exhibition. Do you know anything about houses that no longer exist? Any information please to Penny Alexander 01327 310945. School news The school has recruited Esther Fawcett as our Parent Link worker. She will be available on Monday mornings in the playground. Please come and say hello. She can help access services and courses and will provide valuable liaison between school and parents. She will also be looking to set up a new Parent Forum group to discuss issues associated with school. Governors Required The School needs to appoint 2
Local Authority Governors following vacancies which have arisen.
The Governing body consists of quite a lot of parents and thus for
balance we are looking for some volunteers who are otherwise unconnected
with the school. We are particularly interested in anyone with
accountancy or finance backgrounds to join our finance committee but
would like to hear from anyone who has an interest in the management and
progress of our village school. You need to be prepared to attend
one full governing body meeting and two committee meetings per term.
Please contact the Head Teacher if you have an interest in these roles. |
