Annual Parish Council Meeting

This meeting is the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council where Councillors are appointed to various posts, after the election of it's Chairman.
Once these formalities have been dealt with then the usual business of the Parish Council is considered as per the agenda

The Annual Parish Meeting is a legacy from the Middle Ages, when Local Councils did not exist, and all local decision making was carried out by meetings of the whole community
The Annual Parish Meeting is NOT a Parish Council meeting. It does not have the formality of a Parish Council meeting nor can it make decisions. It is more of an open forum for you to generate discussion, questions and ideas.
Organisations in the village will provide oral or written presentations on their activities
What do you want to see, what are you not happy with, what could be done better, what don't we have that our would like to see?
After the meeting there will be free 'nibbles" and drinks
