The Annual Parish Meeting is a legacy from the Middle Ages, when Local Councils did not exist, and all local decision making was carried out by meetings of the whole community
The Annual Parish Meeting is NOT a Parish Council meeting. It does not have the formality of a Parish Council meeting nor can it make decisions. It is more of an open forum for you to generate discussion, questions and ideas.
Organisations in the village will provide oral or written presentations on their activities
What do you want to see, what are you not happy with, what could be done better, what don't we have that our would like to see?
After the meeting there will be free 'nibbles" and drinks

Thursday evening - The Beacon at the top of Walkers Hill on Poets Way is being lit at 9.45pm ish
Free transport is available from Lady Close, The Village Green and Mounts Lane up & down to the Beacon.
A Pig Roast will be available at the airfield (not free) from about 8.30pm
