Road Closures - Newnham Hill?? - August/September 2021 - Anglian Water

Anglian Water are carrying out works on the A45 and on Western Avenue Daventry.

Looking at the Road closures, it looks like access to and from Newnham Hill might be closed between 13 September 2021 and 22 October 2021?

Newnham "Past & Present" Exhibition - Sat 18 Sept 2pm to 5pm

Organised by Penny Alexander & Liz Powell, and deferred from 2020, they have put together an exhibition of peoples memories, photos and collections from various folks too.

Regrettably the dog of one of our villagers has died - the vet thinks it might have been caused by Ragwort poisoning.

The owners have re-traced their steps across the fields from Newnham to Badby and in the 2nd field (where the crops are growing) they have found Ragwort growing.

It is poisonous, not just to dogs, but to most animals.

We have received the attached Notice of Uncontested Election from the Returning Officer for West Northamptonshire Council.

This means that there will not be an election for Parish Councillors for Newnham due to an insufficiency of candidates.
