West Northamptonshire Council are undertaking a consultation on the draft Newnham Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan from Monday 6th June until Monday 18th July.

This document sets out guidance on development within the conservation area (which it is also proposing to extend).

The document also proposes that some current permitted development rights no longer apply to some properties.

During the consultation there will be a public meeting held online on Tuesday 19 July at 6:30pm-7:30pm, with a presentation from officers. This will also be advertised online, and posters have been erected in the village giving details about how to register for the session.

The Parish Council will seek to arrange a further meeting for all interested parties in the village before the consultation period ends. Further details will follow
